Dr. Arturo B. Gonzalez II is the owner and founder of Alliance Chiropractic & Rehabilitation.  Born and raised in Butuan City, Philippines, Dr. Gonzalez and his family migrated to the United States in October of 1989.  He and his family briefly lived in Altoona, PA before relocating to Jersey City, NJ where they lived for two years.  In 1991, Dr. Gonzalez and his family moved to Virginia Beach, VA where he and his two sisters continued their education.  Dr. Gonzalez graduated from Bayside High School and proceeded with his undergraduate degree earning a Bachelor’s in Science with a major in Biology and a double minor in Chemistry and Psychology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

With a true passion for healthcare, Dr. Gonzalez decided to further his education and follow his dreams of becoming a Chiropractor.  He attended Life College of Chiropractic in 2000 where he became the President of Full Spine Adjusting Club.  He finished his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2004 at Logan College of Chiropractic with honors and the recipient of the Clinician’s Assistant Award.  After becoming a Board Certified Chiropractor by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, He proceeded to work in Philadelphia, PA before starting his private practice in his hometown, Virginia Beach, VA as a Licensed Chiropractor certified by the Virginia Board of Medicine.

Dr. Arturo B. Gonzalez II opened his private practice in 2005 and has since been serving the Hampton Roads community.  He specializes in treatment and management of personal and sports injuries, management of various disc conditions, treatment of overall back pain, management of headaches and neck pain, and treatment and management of neuromuscular disorders.  In addition, Dr. Gonzalez has also had great results in management of women and their pregnancy and treating many health conditions related to the spine and nervous system.  With that, Dr. Gonzalez is also passionate about helping his patients who are simply interested in Chiropractic to achieve an optimum level of health and well-being.

In addition, Dr. Gonzalez is proud to be affiliated with Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Residency Program and Bayside High School’s Health and Science Academy as a teacher and mentor to Students and Resident Physicians.  He is active in community service and has spoken to various organizations, schools, and small groups educating them about Chiropractic and all that it has to offer.  He often contributes to many local charities and organizations as a way to give back to the community.

Dr. Gonzalez is truly committed to providing the best possible Chiropractic experience to all his patients.  He is passionate in helping those who are injured, ill, in pain and discomfort, and in a state of “dis-ease”.  Dr. Gonzalez is eager to not only help you live a pain free lifestyle, but also achieve optimum health and well being utilizing the simple principles of the Art, Science, and Philosophy of Chiropractic.

Elecel Gazolo - Office Manager

Elecel  “Elle” Layese-Galozo was born and raised in the Philippines where she graduated with the degree of AB-Communication Arts at the Ateneo de Davao University (2002) and an MBA at the University of Southeastern Philippines (2009). With her 8 years of radio jockeying experience in Davao City, she was able to establish her career as a radio personality. When she joined   ABS-CBN (the country‘s largest network), she also had the opportunity to host events, appear on TV shows and commercials as well as write scripts and produce segments for TV and radio programs. Her accomplishments and her entire media experience was something she dreamed of achieving all her life but, in 2009 she had to make that major decision of letting everything go to start a new beginning in Virginia Beach with her husband, to raise a family.

Finding a job in the US was a tremendous challenge for her. In fact, it took her one long year searching, until she found her way in to the welcoming doors of Dr. Gonzalez’s office. He gave her a major breakthrough in beginning a career path in the medical office field, and for that, she is forever thankful.

For more than 5 years, she is not just an Office Manager, but also a family member of the office and its patients. She takes pride and joy in performing her duties everyday because playing an active role in providing patients with utmost care for their health and wellness, is indeed a blessing.

Lindsey Salanga - Massage Therapist

Lindsey Salanga is a certified Massage Therapist in Virginia and is also licensed in North Carolina. She has been practicing Massage for well over 9 years and is we’ll versed in anatomy and physiology. She graduated in 2004 from Virginia School of Technology now known as Fortis College in Virginia. She also graduated from American Spirit Institute in 2012 completing her basic Esthetician degree.

After graduating from Massage school, she worked for Dr. Gonzales as his Therapist on staff. Gaining a lot of knowledge from him, she took that with her down to the Outer Banks where she worked for 8 years in the spa industry.

She is now in the Chesapeake area with a desire to expand her knowledge in skin care and is currently in school to get her Masters in Esthetics at ASI Institute.

She believes that Massage Therapy can enhance over all quality of life. Experience with past clients and patients has shown her that massage is beneficial as a preventative measure against many problems such as stress- related conditions, tension and repetitive strain.  Her scope of practice includes but are not limited to, deep tissue, hot stone therapy, reflexology, shiatsu level 1 & 2,  cancer/oncology massage, acupressure Jin Sin Do facial massage, trigger point therapy, swedish massage, pregnancy massage, energy crystal healing, cupping massage and body therapy. She has experience with various repetitive injuries, postural imbalances and stress related conditions such as migraines, head aches and chronic tension. Using Swedish Massage as her base treatment she also incorporates a variety of techniques to tailor the treatment for individual patients. Her purpose for each and every client is to help promote health, wellness, and safety so that each client can live a healthier, and more productive life.
